In a more informal way you can say, "Hoy aprendí..."
But if you want to express yourself in a more formal way, the perfect thing to say is "En el día de hoy he aprendido..."

Hope it helps, good luck!

In San Luis Potosí, Mexico, "I had my hair reduce at present" is "Me corté el pelo hoy." Alternative: "Me corté el cabello hoy." or "Me cortaron el pelo hoy." Alternative: "Me cortaron el cabello hoy." You would additionally say "Fui con el estilista hoy", that is extra like "I went to the hairdressers at present."
