Put your attention span of a housefly and my organization skills together and the anal people of the world would go be admitted to the nearest nuthouses. Wouldn't that be great? I have been told that medication would help me but I have just started to write things on a calendar instead. I have a child who thinks I have no logic at all but all my ADD friends and I get along great. We can listen and change subjects as often as we want.

It's a great question...

Have you considered medication? I'm not a big fan of living one's life doped up, but I have an aunt who SWEARS that her life is a thousand percent better since she started taking ritalin.

My next suggestion would be to monitor your behavior...Where you see yourself drifting, or forgetting particular items, take note of this (in fact, take notes, so that you can look back on them later, and don't have to try to remember everything!). Then you'll have a list of the things that cause you the most trouble...From there, you'd have to work out it out for yourself, but you can adjust your behavior to help you get past these sticky spots.

For example, I have locked my keys in the car so many times, that now I absolutely don't close the car door (locked or not), unless I'm looking at the car keys in my hands. I also know that I'll never remember that thing at home, if I tell myself to remember it when I'm at work...To combat this, I simply call my house, and leave myself a message, so that I can remember it when I'm in the right place.

write everything down, people with ADD tend to be forgetful. For now try to do one thing at a time so you can focus your attention on that one thing. Don't even let your brain think of other things, make your brain think about what you're doing.

I wouldn't know, but try meditation and various mental excercises. (e-mail me if it works or not)
