I would like to know if it is possible and safe to hook up 2 JBL GTO637 6.5" 180-WATT 3-way speakers that are rated from what I understand at 2 ohms impedance to a regular 4 channel deck with simple 240 watt built in amplifier. I would also like to add SOUNDSTREAM XTS57 5x7" 360 WATT 3 way speakers in the doors. the 5x7 speakers are 180 watts each. Sorry if this a stupid question but can I install and run the speakers safely on the deck I mentioned earlier ?

Probably not. Most decks are rated for a minimum impedance of 4 ohms. A 2-ohm speaker generally requires a separate amplifier.
