We have them here for 50/hr with a 4 hour min. so 200 is the cheapest.

It's pretty cheap if you make friends with recreational balloonists and are willing to wake up in the morning to serve as crew. Once in a while you'll get a ride, and sometimes if you hang around with the right balloonists, you'll get free flight training.

But if you usually want to sleep in, and just want to try it once with a big ride company, a couple hundred bucks will do it and you'll get a free champagne brunch afterwords.
