I will address this question from a consumer minilab point of view.

If all things are equal, that is, the chemistry is within control parameters, the equipment properly maintained, and a skilled operator at the controls, in general, Kodak film looks better when printed on Kodak paper, using Kodak chemistry and a Nortisu printer. Fuji film looks better when done using Fuji paper and equipment. Fuji done on Kodak generally is better than Kodak done on Fuji.

As always, the operator/printer person has much to do with the final quality of your prints.

In home usage, I don't much care for consumer Kodak ink jet paper, but that is just my opinion using my printer. On your printer, Kodak might look great. I don't think I have seen Fuji ink jet paper.

I suppose you are refering to color paper since Kodak no longer makes black and white paper so in that case I prefer Kodak. On the other hand if you are refering to black and white papers I prefer neither, as I prefer Ilford.
