I have had 3 strokes in a year and a half and when I asked my parish priest today for the anointing of the sick sacrament he refused and actualy smirked at me. He knows all about the strokes. What would you do. Tell me truley.

I would start looking for a new priest, or in my case, pastor, I am protestant.

I don't know what sacrament is.
I do know Scripture does not teach mediation between man & G-d, so if I were you...
1) I'd change my diet.
2) Find another priest.
3) Go to G-d directly. Bypass your priest.

He smirked at you??? I'm shocked. Are there any other priests in your parish? If not, call the Archdiocese...tell them what happened and ask what you can do.

Find a new priest AND a new parish. He is no true priest. I would report him also, to the bishop.

Find another Priest, and tell everyone you know, what happened to you....He is not doing God's work, thats for sure. You also need to report him to those in a higher position...God Bless you...

I would have a meeting with him to question his answer, find out why he thinks that way. If you don't like his answers maybe god's telling you it's time for you to grow and move on to a different church.

Honestly? Well...
I would humbly ask him why he was refusing.
Then, with my Bible in hand, I would open up to James of him...and ask him about James 5:13-16...
...and I would proceed from there...

Find another priest who will. I would even go as far as to find a Protestant minister who would be willing.
