It's like pulling teeth to find the actual RMS power ratings on that amplifier. However, here they are:

RMS power at 4 ohms: 50 watts x 2
RMS power at 2 ohms: 70 watts x 2
RMS power at 4 ohms bridged: not specified, even in the user's manual. However, following their logic of calling the 2-channel "max" power 500 watts x 2, then that means the bridged output is probably around 100 watts RMS.

In other words, it's a 100 watt amp. Pyramid multiplied the RMS rating by 10, called it a 1000 watt amp, and hid the real specs in the user's manual, page 6.

Bridging combines the output of two channels right into a unmarried mono signal. maximum 2 and four-channel amps have provisions for bridging the channels. notwithstanding it really is continually in elementary words mandatory if the amp is used tocontinual subwoofer(s) in mono mode. for most finished-decision coaxial or element audio device, the flexibility from a unmarried channel is sufficient. truly, for subwoofer(s), the perfect determination is in a lot of circumstances a monoblock. For a given power output, they're frequently a lot less severe priced, draw a lot less cutting-edge, and run cooler.
