As your friend said, steak and ground beef come from a cow. However, when you discuss Steak and Shake, the ground beef they use is from the parts of the beef that are usually sold as steaks. Ground beef can come from the less select parts of the cow.

Def. steak because there are more diseases associated with ground beef. However, if I really had a choice, I'd prefer to be a dairy cow so I wouldn't be used for meat. :-)

I'd be everything! I am not a strict vegetarian... I eat beef and pork, and sometimes chicken... but beef is the most delicious of all. I would be steak and burgers, but not ground beef... why get the beef if you can have the burger ready made?

I'd definitely be steak. A nice juicy ribeye or a Bistecca alla Fiorentina. Medium rare and ever so juicy!!

Steak. Being "cut" would be bad enough; to be "ground" would be torture.
