A. The world will not end but evil will.
B. What is happening now and what has been happening since the death and reasurrection of Christ are all signs of the times.
C. Christ will return. He could return today, tomorrow, 10 years, a hundred, or a thousand or more years from now but no man will know the day no matter how much they try to find it out.

I do. I think everything from global warming to the war on terror show that we are living in a world that will some day end as we know it. Will that happen tomorrow, next year of next century I don't know, but I do believe it will come. There have been prophecies about the end of the world for a long time and people always write them off as being made by lunatics or by people who being fooled by religion... but when you look at the state of the world how can you really believe that somehow humanity will change its ways.

As for the Revelations part of your question, I also believe that to be true because I refuse to believe that we are all living for nothing. We are part of a plan and that plan is running its course.

If you believe in the rapture and think the signs are alive then my opinion is that you are naive and only know what you are living through without studying your world history outside of the little antiquated black book.

History repeats and we have libraries that teach us these lessons, but people stopped reading anything other than school text books, which are inaccurate and guilted into reading only the Bible and told not to study any other religion or you'll go to hell.... and many kept on with the "end is near" stuff during trying times every single time we've faced radical strife before change.

In a scientific stand point our own civilization can destroy itself by harming the environment to irreparable damage. If not, the sun has a natural death cycle and will nova anyway.

On a larger scale, space is a giant furnace that subsists of recycling elements that have broken down into a rich soup creating DNA on planets that harbor the right ingredients.

Therefore, other civilizations have, are and will exist besides ourselves. It would be arrogant to think otherwise just as I think its the height of arrogance to tell me I'm going to hell from an unproven fairy tail.

So, rather than dwell on our little fairy tales written in some antiquated scripture when the Chinese have over 5,000 years on us in accurate history that pre-dates the Bible, I would say...

We have bigger fish to fry, like getting Bush out of office and being responsible for our actions so that there is a world left for our children's children.

I do believe in Judgement Day and the world coming to an end and I don't think it will be very pretty when it happens. So I'm making sure I do right in the world and enjoy every day to the fullest. In fact I'm taking my teenage son to dive the coral reefs this summer before they're all destroyed. It won't be long before they are completely dead. Global warming, war, crime, catastrophes, etc.....the signs are there. Hopefully Christ will have the chance to return to earth if man doesn't destroy it first.

I think human society always has and always will face challenges, wars, and difficulties. There could come a day where we face extinction. It's a huge reality. After all, we've watched other species go extinct. But I don't think that's bible prophesy or anything like that. I think that's the natural order and nature of things. And no - I don't believe Christ will return to earth because I think he was just a man.

Yes the world as we know it will cease to exsist when Christ returns on judgement day. And yes things are happening now that are mentioned in the book of Revelations in the bible such as wars, famines, nations turning against nation, earthquakes, wide spread disease etc. that mean the end is near. If you haven't asked Christ into your heart do so now before it is to late!!

What's happening now are signs of global warming and it's effects, kids being kids in a new era, etc. It's been going on since people walked the Earth.

All things are impermanent, including our sun and planet... of course the world will end. Point is... don't worry about it, instead use the time to cultivate knowledge, wisdom and altruism and be more eco-friendly.

Do I think the world will end, yes.

In roughly five million years the sun will begin to swell and gobble up the terrestrial planets (Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars) and leave the outer planets with nothing more than a white dwarf star as a sun. That, if you ask me, is the end of the world.

i am not sure about the "world" itself ending, but human existence will end in not too long. With a combination of nuclear threats and global warming, i dont think we have much longer. Now as for christ...give me a break. Wasnt he supposed to come in 1972? and then in 1985? and then again in 2000?
