After reading the book 'The Tenth Circle', by Jodi Picoult, I would think yes.
The first circle was for non-believers, and they are forced to spend eternity as formless nihilistic shadows. and i guess that was the first level of torment.
The second level was for the souls of adulterers, who are now joined in agony for eternity.
The third circle was for Gluttonous, they are doomed to continually drown in the bogs beneath their own greed. Ceberus the three-headed dog guards them.
The fourth circle was for the avaricious and the prodigal and is deadly and dangerous.
The fifth level is in the swamp of Styx for the wrathful.
The sixth level is in the city of dis, for the heretics.
The seventh level is in the wood of the suicides obviously for those who commit suicide.
The eighth level: The malebolge----fraudulence and malice.
The Ninth level of hell the dark lord awaits.....
And lastly, the tenth level is for those who lie two themselves.
But I'm not a big believer in after-life so I don't know what to believe,
Cheers,
Georgie.

Nothing is said in the Bible. But when you read Dante's Inferno, there are nine levels each, according to the deeds of the sinner in Hell. So which will you believe? An Italian creative writer, or the Infalible Word of God, hmm?

The degree of punishment will be commensurate with one's sin against the light which one has received.
One good passage that indicated degrees of punishment is Luke 12:47-48: "That servant who know his master's will and does not get ready or does not do what his master wants will be BEATEN WITH MANY BLOWS. But the one who does not know and does things deserving punishment will be BEATEN WITH FEW BLOWS. From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked". Other verses on this issue include MAT 10:15; 16:27; Rev. 20:12,13; 22:12.
Jesus affirmed that the wicked "will go away to ETERNAL punishment, but the righteous to ETERNAL life" (Mat 25:46)

actually there is not supposed to be any tormenting in hell because it is believed to what you are most scared of or just living with the fact that you had so many faults that you ended up in hell.

it depends on who you ask.
Well this Italian guy named Dante thought that there WERE different circles in hell. Kinda like a spiral. The top circles are not that bad. They're for sinners of passion, or people who didn't have God. The deepest, darkest, circles are for sinners against nature. Giants, etc... The INNERMOST circle are for traitors. There's Judas, and Brutus, and Satan, etc.
It all depends on who you ask though. I agree with the first answer XP

eric cartman talkin to ya
"well about hell. ya ever have someone come up to you and say well I just got back from hell and it pretty much sucked *** for the most part. yes, the toture was fairly lame while I was there. I thought not, so who can say what hell is like except for Kenny. He's in hell everyday thats cuz he was poor.
If I was there I'd be all like: no satan no, thats a bad satan, you stop all this damn torturing thats a bad satan. and then I'd kick him square in da nuts. and then I'd be like : there ya see satan you will respect my authoritah, and then i would kick him again

Nope. That's from Dante's Inferno - a work of fiction.
Much like how much of "The Fall" mythology comes from Milton's Paradise Lost (another work of fiction).
