I want a good thick syrup for pancakes and waffles.

Anything that says real maple syrup. It's not as thick as that imitation stuff, but it's a lot more flavorful. Pricier too, but worth it.

This website has a recipe called Simple Maple Syrup I tried and I don't think that I will be using store bought maple syrup anymore. www.allrecipes.com I hope this helps.

The brand I like can't find it any more (Cary's)

I buy local home made now, south central part of Pennsylvania (Meyersdale)

$10.00 per quart-pricey, but ooh so awesome
