You forget that Russia, France, and Germany were also caught supplying chemicals and weapons supplies (not each for each country) to Iraq in direct defiance of the U.N. embargo. Talk about a vested interest and greed!

The USA doesn't have to have the UN's approval to do anything. The UN is what it is because of the USA. Hell, the main UN Headquarters is in the USA. I believe it's New York. But as far as approval to go to war in Iraq goes. Congress approved of this war.

The authority to attack Iraq came from God then to Jesus who in turn told George Bush that the Iraqi people were looking for salvation from Sadamn who is hiding wmd's in barns throughout iraq. Jesus assured that Iraq needed salvation cause they are all crazy radical muslims who hate democracy and freedom. Also they don't like ham and Americans love bacon so in short God who told Jesus to give GEorge the word to launch Iraqi freedom in the name of American Democracy. Got to love God for that one heh.
lol. who is gonna read that ranting and raving from the guy above me? we are american for gods sake, we have like 10 second attention spans. Hell I can't even finish this sentence without thinking about my next point about how Iraq is the stupidest war in american history.
