Pell grants goes by a formula and your marital status at the time of filing. Once the marital status is entered, it can't be changed at any time of the year until filing for the next school year. Also, if you married, the financial aid would be based on both your incomes and if he is not attending college, it could be held against you if he earns a lot of money. A student's income is held to a higher standard percentage than if their parent filed. I will include some free resources for you below.
First, the college's financial aid office and website has a list of private scholarships offered from outside organizations and companies. Sometimes a college major's website will list scholarships, too.
Second, the public library has a book listing scholarships with some not even listed on the web.
Finally, I recommend joining several free membership scholarship search websites, but the best I have located is Scholarship Experts since they have a very thorough and lengthy survey to complete compared to Fastweb. There are scholarships for a variety of things including ethnicity, clubs, hobbies, and even wearing duct tape to the high school prom. Most are updated on a regular basis. Most offer a customized search based on information entered onto a form on the website.
Good luck!

The reason single parents get more aid is because it is much harder to be a single parent than a married one. If you have a chance of being married to a supportive husband (but not to a jerk!) you and your baby will be a lot better off, emotionally, and probably financially as well.

first of all you are able to desire to think of in case you want to maintain this infant. Then in case you come returned to a determination which you do not, i've got confidence that that's barely straightforward that he's conscious and has the choice to look after the newborn. Abortion is something that i don't have confidence in as there are a number of people who might die to have a infant yet at the instant can not. answer this question to your self approximately abortion. might you have the flexibility to stay with your self understanding you killed an harmless infant that would have had a large existence with accompanied mom and father or your self in that count. As for him, if he refuses to speak to you or answer your calls, go away him a message telling him what is going on and what your plans are, and if he desires to have any touch, go away him a extensive decision or place the place he can gain this. in case you propose to maintain the newborn, then as quickly as that's born and you're in want of economic counsel with the newborn, then bypass to the courts and ask for infant help. desire each thing seems in the main suitable intrests for you and the newborn. reliable luck!

The baby will be better off with a mother and father married and at home. Wouldn't even wonder about how much money that uncle sam is giving you to go to school.

it depends. I know a single mother who is not eligible for grants and she made about 20k. So, it is based on your income and other things as well. But, I will not worry about it b/c your not going to college
