I've heard it said that a man would climb a mountain
Just to be with the one he loves
How many times has he broken that promise
It has never been done.
I've never climbed the highest mountain
But I walked the hill of calvary

Just to be with you, I'd do anything
There's no price I would not pay
Just to be with you, I'd give anything
I would give my life away.

I've heard it said that a man would swim the ocean
Just to be with the one he loves
How may times has he broken that promise
It can never be done
I've never swam the deepest ocean
But I walked upon the raging sea

I know that you don't understand
The fullness of My love
How I died upon the cross for your sins
And I know that you don't realize
How much that I gave you
But I promise, I would do it all again.

Just to be with you, I've done everything
There's no price I did not pay
Just to be with you, I gave everything
Yes, I gave my life away.

initially Christians celebrated the Resurrection of Jesus extremely than His birthday each Lord's Day. there have been some "secret Cults" which incorporates the Cult of Mithras which had holy days that were customary between pagans. The Church began to rejoice certain holiday journeys together, All Hallows Eve (Halloween) for instance. that's similar with Christmas. finally scholars are uncertain of the date, or maybe the year notwithstanding there is a few customary consensus.

Call me from the mountain.

What's that? You don't exist so you can't technically call me?

You must convince atheists with evidence, not emotional guilt trips. That's the whole point.

If a deity has an instant, divine telephone service into my brain, then I should have heard something by now, don't you think?

This is a song by Third Day, called "Love Song."

It was kind of you to relay the message, but I've got too much history with Jesus for it to ever work out.

There are any number of people and causes I'd give my life for on a moment's notice... Even without being guaranteed resurrection/super powers after the fact..... Dying for "everybody" really isn't much of a sacrifice...

Jesus was a nice person and he died and the ones that lived can only speak for the poor soul

Wow, Jesus never said that, and whoever wrote that had a half chance of being on drugs/booze at the time.

Good for you, you pompous @rse-hole. All Jesus had to do was chose a woman over a man, to incur the wrath of religious men!

I see you raised some hairs! God told many of His disciples and prophets to not fear men. I my brother stand by your side and proclaim your good heart to our God. I pray that He sees your faith in spite of ridicule. I tell you my heart has lifted with joy at your heart! Let them say what they will, my friend in Christ! May our Father in Heaven, the One who is with us even now, bless you with even MORE faith and heart to preach The Good News as you have just done. In Jesus name, I bless you, brother!

Dear Jesus:

It is my understanding that a true friend would not let followers use his name to manipulate people into feeling guilty. A true friend would also understand that people have mundane lives, and that thinking obsessively about any given relationship is a sign of poor mental health. And any person with an ounce of decency and common sense can understand why I broke off our friendship eight years ago: my new friends apparently worked through their co-dependency issues a millennium ago, at latest. I certainly do not treat them as you accuse me of treating you...

If you persist in inspiring your misguided followers to send me similar messages, I fear that I will have to ask a few of my new friends to issue a restraining order. (Does the name Tyr sound familiar to you?)

Sincerely yours,

Your EX-Friend.
