I want dining of all ethnic groups and some signature dishes I made up myself. I was thinking about Creative Gourmet but I am not sure if that works... any ideas?

I wouldn't go to a restuarant called the Creative Gourmet... sounds kind of flaky to me. If you don't want to go with a spinoff of your name (i.e. Deanie's) and you're covering all food types and can't go with steakhouse or crabshack or oysterhouse....you need to come up with a name with "atmosphere" or emotion, and personality. Something like...the Cozy Corner, the Great Escape (just make sure you don't mess with the Steak Escape),..something with Shack in the name is popular. Do you have a theme at all? You need one...how is your restuarant going to be categorized? With a lot of dishes of all types you run the risk of being considered unable to really specialize in any particular type of food. Selling burgers and steaks and seafood and sandwiches and salads is fine..but when a group is sitting together and they're in the mood for a good burger...they won't think of your place before Lakeview Harbor, or SwampRoom, or even N.O. Hamburger and Seafood. (assuming these places are still open.) Don't get too cliche with the name though either. Maybe look at WHERE you're restaurant is going to be located...It mgiht be as simple as the Canal Place Diner....or Johnie's at WestEnd. Maybe focus on something really originall...like Fried Pickles...or get your own drink, ie. the Fuzzy Navel.

new orleans is definitely the place with multiple cultures...

cresent city cuisine? cresent city gourment? yah i like those two the best... or call it N.O.C for new orleans cuisine
N.O.C.C.G. new orleans cresent city gourmet...
