Some think that money, or cars, or big fancy houses, sport, music will fill the void deep within their soul, some take drugs and become drug addicts or some people drink a lot, to fill the void?
Nothing this world has to offer can fill that void, it is only a relationship with the Lord Jesus can do so.
Jesus said "I am the bread of life", those who come to me will ever be hungry again. Those who believe in me will never thirst."

Now none but Christ can satisfy
None other Name for me
There's love and life and lasting joy
Lord Jesus found in thee.

You are absolutely right- when you see the very rich people on tv most of them just want to accumulate more and more, but still they are empty. God places in each of us a void that can only be filled with Himself- and when we try to fill it up with stuff we may look like we have it all together on the outside, at least for awhile, but that can never really fulfill us. Only Jesus Christ can fill that void and give us joy and the abundant life- This does not mean that people who are rich cannot come to know the Lord- however- praise God for His precious gift of life and salvation.
happiness comes from happenings- joy can only come from the Lord.

I'm not sure. I've never cut myself open and I've never had a full body CT or MRI scan. But, if I do turn out to have a void, where can I find some of Jesus Christ to stuff in there? Seems to me, it might be hard to find enough Jesus Christ left. He's been dead for 2000 and some odd years now. And if a lot of people have a void, there certainly isn't going to be enough Jesus to go around. The guy probably weighted, what, 150 pounds maybe. That much flesh isn't going to fill billions and billions of holes. Do you have some sort of backup for when Jesus is all used up?

I just love how Christians invent terminology and twist language to suit their needs. Now we have to argue for a year because only you know what "inner being" is supposed to mean. If you want to engage in meaningful dialog with educated people, your opinions will be far better received if you simply use standard English. Try to imagine how foolish you sound to a biology professor when you argue that evolution isn't a fact because it's called a theory. Imagine how stupid you sound when you argue that a fetus is the same as a person. I'm not going to take your bait. Good Evening.

The joy of Christ completely fills my heart.
John 15:10 &11" If you keep My commandments, you will abide in my love; just as I have kept My Fathers commandments, and abide in His love. These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full."

I don't understand why you would believe that having a relationship with a comic book character would fill any void someone might have in their life

I don't have a void like that and I don't have a relationship with Jesus Christ, so that kinda blows your entire theory out of the water. Sorry.

I couldn't agree with you more. Many search for something to fill that empty spot and can't find it. Then when they find it, it no longer satisfies. Only God can fill that void, through His Son Jesus Christ.

Some people become addicted to religion and use it as their crutch too. As a matter of fact a lot of people like to blame God for things when they have the freedom to make their own decisions.
