Christianity is "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved." I know nothing about the false religions of nirvana, 1000 virgins, live the life, aspire to, but I know you can come just as you are to Christ and ask Him to save your soul and He will do it. Without Christ there is no assurance of heaven. God makes this very clear in His Holy Bible, King James Version or New International Version. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. Find a Bible teaching church and make a full profession of your sins in public. A Baptist, Pentecostal, Church of God, Methodist or any full gospel church will teach you the sinners prayer and the pastor will baptize you. When you come to Christ you must believe that He is who He says He is and that He did what He said He did on the Cross of Calvary. When Christ enters into your heart He does the removal of sin for you. And gives you the Holy Spirit to teach you about Him. What Christ starts in you He is more than able to finish. The sin starts falling away and you get closer and closer to the Lord. Read the Bible, the Word of the Living God. Adam and Eve lost eternal life in the Garden of Eden when they disobeyed God and believed Satan. Christ went to the Cross of Calvary to win eternal life back for us. He took all of our sins upon Himself on the Cross. He triumphed victoriously over Satan and took the keys of death and hell from him. We were dead in sin before Christ did this, but by believing in what Christ did we now have eternal life with Him. God resurrected Christ and He will resurrect us from the dead so we can have eternal life with Him.

Well, if you wait until you've arrived, there's a pretty good chance you will be in Hell, and from there you can't say, "Okay, I believe now, let me out!" Which is why you need to study everything you can during this life so you know what will happen afterwards.
I am a Christian, and I know I will be going to Heaven when I die (which is why I look forward to it). Think about it. How can anyone possibly know what happens afterward, unless someone has some really good proof? Jesus Christ died. He DIED. He was DEAD. And then He resurrected. He had the power to bring himself back to life, and I take whatever he says as pretty good evidence.
I'm sure you've heard that all before. Nevertheless, have you ever actually read the Bible, beyond listening to people's opinions and what the media says? Christians are horribly represented by TV, secular media, and secular books about us. Really, if you want to learn, you'll go to the primary source. Why stick to secondary sources? What's the point of reading points of view without knowing what they're really talking about? Start in Genesis, because it gives the foundation for Christianity. After that, read Mark - it is the shortest Gospel and gives the story of Jesus Christ very clearly. Then read Acts, Romans, and continue your way through the rest of the New Testament, along with the other three Gospels.
If you really want to know where you are going to be after you die, start now. You may take life for granted, but it can end on you in a second, without you knowing, without you anticipating. We have no experience with dying, and can't think, "Ah, I think I'm going to die pretty soon. This is what happened last time, after all."
Your life is going to be through and over in a matter of years. Find out what happens AFTER. Really soon. It's a matter of healthfulness. And don't just go to the easiest source. I mean, what's the bloody point of believing something false and hoping it will get you through? That's stupid. Search carefully, with an open - but not gullible - mind.
And start with the Bible, too. *grin*

When you meet your end.
This guy knew when he had arrived.
He had worked very hard one day, and went home and shut the door.
He heard a knock on the door few minutes later.
He opened the door, and there was his "end".
He had worked his butt-off.
Don't guess this helps, huh?
Ditto.............
