Muslims claim they reject terrorism but then they accept jihad? The fact of the matter is you can't. I know im going to get some muslim thats gonna copy and paste some long *ss answer explaining what jihad is. Dont do that, because I know what Jihad is. It doesnt mean some "spiritual struggle" or a war in self-defence, it never has. Muhammad ordered muslims to go to war until **all** disbelievers submit to islam (sura 9:29) and live under its rule. Those 78 wars, except for the battle of azhab, were always waged in the offensive; against tribes whom muhammad had peace treaties with. So let me ask you when you say you denounce terrorism and accept Jihad, can you expect any reasonable person to take that as a valid claim?

Jihad is the Arabic word for struggle. You can't deny fact. Terrorism is not Jihad, it is the act of spreading terror and killing innocent people for an unjust purpose. It is a fact that the Qu'ran forbids the waging of war against any nation be it for any purpose other than the will of God, this is the exact same as a crusade. If a Muslim does wage war then taking any innocent life is strictly forbidden and must be avoided at all costs. The attacking Muslim nation must stick solely to the purpose of the attack and not pillage through the streets looting and killing. Terrorism has only recently been associated with Islam but it was there before 9/11 and there were terrorists of other religions. Islam makes up more than 23% of the world's population and saying that even more than 0.02% of these are terrorists is like saying that all the water in the world is contaminated. Simply because on TV you only see the deluded Muslims who are killing people doesn't mean that all Muslims are the same and Islam is a religion of terrorism. Hitler was a Christian but not every Christian has a wish to control an army so that he can massacre millions of Jews. Before you start posting questions which may insult somebody make sure that your facts are reliable and not pulled off some site written by a sad little man whose sole purpose of living is to denounce the faith.

My ignorant little friend, terrorism and jihad are two diferent things.
Terrorism as we all know is the wanton killing of civilians to achieve a political goal.
Jihad on the other hand could be against oneself, jihad to be a better person, to give up smoking, drugs or alcohol. Jihad means a struggle.
It could also be a poltical struggle without the use of terrorism, as in a nation going to war with another after being wrongly invaded.
Case in point Iraq, the Iraqi people have every right in the world (God bless them) to target and kill American soldiers occupying their nation. That is Jihad.
Now if the same Iraqis were to blow up an American airliner full of American civilians in order to scare the US govt, now that my pesky little friend would be terrorism.

Jihad is entirely different from terrorism. Jihad is the inner struggle that Muslims have to deal with in their souls. And terrorists go kill innocent people. Jihad has nothing to do with killing innocent people. It has to do with Muslims fighting people who oppress us like the Israelites are doing to the Palestinians.

Maybe to you it doesn't mean spiritual struggles, but to us Muslims it does.
So I accept jihad as a personal struggle to better myself and denounce terrorism at the same time.

. Islam condemns all acts of oppression. Necessary force is permissible only when one is defending oneself, family, and right to practice his/her religion or fighting tyranny and oppression. Muslims who blow up buildings and kill innocent people are not acting in accordance with what Islam teaches.

This is really more a political question. As far as what "Mohammad ordered" that is a matter of interpretation, and there exists diversity within Islam,as with all faiths.

it incredibly is humorous how people who declare people who do no longer settle for his or her baseless claims are mentally sick, are the right comparable people who have faith in issues that (decrease than the different situation) could warrant being put in a psychological well being facility.
