Exorcist??? Isn't that the new brand of shoe I saw at the mall this weekend for $999.95 a pair?

Why does your wife need an exorcist? Which one of you is either crazy or possessed? Some reality is missing here! If someone is asking for a credit card to do an exorcism, I would run as fast as possible in the opposite direction and ask your wife where she is coming from or going to! There is no demon of shopping only a craving for something you can't afford! Sheesh. Double sheesh. Exorcism is a shadow area where there is demon-possession and the spiritual jury is still deliberating on that. Maybe your wife might have told you the "Devil made me do it" but extravagance is the real cause along with her over-use of a credit card. Excuses? The Devil doesn't cut it. How do you keep an elephant from charging? Take away his credit card!

Sure - it's an old-established principle; some sins create their own demons - The demon Drink, for example (runs a bar called The Hellfire Club on Pandemonium and 6th), the demon Lust, and so on. The demon Retail is one of an up-and-coming nest of new contenders, working in tandem with her half-brother, Credit to support the political ambitions of Poverty (who's looking to replace Pestilence as one of the Horsemen of the Apocalypse). It's a whole scene. Thing is credit cards are like the Freddy Kruegers and Jason Voorheeses of the modern world. Cut them up, bury them at midnight sprinkled in holy water, do what you will - they'll always be back for another instalment, at a mall near you - soon!

Maybe to rid herself of the credit card demon. You can't make the money and then spend it. She is only helping you in appreciation. ha
