Later that evening,(or the next day) just to tell her how happy you were to meet her. I'm a girl and if you like her, than you like her. Let her know. If she also likes you that she will be so excited that you called her right away. Don't play games. It's so annoying. I dated a guy that played that game. He went over a week without calling and would do it often. The next time I saw him, I had spent almost every waking hour for the past week with a new guy. He was actually upset because he thought we had a "thing". Well I've been with the other person for 6 years now. He called every day.

I suggest that you dont call her the next day. unless when you exchanged numbers she seemed like she wanted you to call the next day. Otherwise a good time to call her is after a couple of days.

I would give it the next day to call her. You dont want to appear to needy and call her the same day but then again you dont want to look like you forgot about her. Call her the day after and be a sweetheart and everything will be good! Good luck!

I suggest the next day if you have good rapport with her. If you really havent gotten to know her maybe two days.
Whenever you ask her to draw a picture of herself with number. Then when you call her say hey, and she will ask 'who is this?' and then you can comment cleverly on her drawing.
