Al Sharpton is a joke, even among educated blacks, and Jesse Jackson isn't much better. At least Jackson once had a modicum of credibility. Why, what are they up to now? Grandstanding, no doubt.

Oh, you're talking about Don Imus? People do that because Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson get ink (and TV time). If it brings out an issue for discussion, what's the problem? You can disagree with them.
I think that Al Sharpton spoke up about what Imus said. Sharpton has a radio show, and Imus went on to talk about what he said about the Rutgers women's basketball team. I don't think that's crawling on one's belly, I think it's having to deal with a public mistake (to put it mildly).

The only thing that will make me ill is if the news channels don't stop covering the whole Imus thing. He said he's sorry....he's getting suspended....if he comes back and the ratings are bad, he'll be fired. Time to get over it. Does anyone really watch him anyways? I really don't like his show.

Both of them turn my stomach which would mean that I personally would be unable to crawl on my belly for either of them......I would be turning.....and turning......and turning......and then I might just fall on my face in utter disgust!

I never noticed that anyone was or did,other than the mass media and even mostly television. They are good copy.
