I misplaced the U. S. Government report telling me the amount
of Social Security payments I received in 2006. Is there any
way that I can access that information via the internet?

You can REQUEST a statement on-line, but you can't VIEW it on line. The fastest method of obtaining a copy would be to go to the nearest Social Security office. I have included links to the request page and the Office locator page below.

check the gov site, but you'll probably have to call and have it mailed back out to you. They may be able to give you the figure over the phone.
