but just not available, am i reading into this too much thinking there might be a chance with this guy in the future,when he isnt with somebody else? i wonder this because he always seriously flirts with me,and vise versa

It could mean he likes you but is attached/ in a relationship with someone else, most men I know who said this were married/had a serious partner and wanted a "no strings" fling, (which I always took to mean they were willing to have a sexual relationship so long as no one else found out about it - always "bad news" & to be avoided as even if they ever become available they will always have tendancy to be unfaithful): or it could be a "polite" way of letting you know he is not at all interested ( in my experience men don't even bother to text you when they not interested unless they feel as if they are being "stalked"/a wife has demanded it after seeing text messages).
Either way forget him, you deserve better

It means exactly what he says. He doesnt want to be in a relationship with you. He might like you, but he might like lots of people - but even that is speculation because he never said whether he liked you or not. He doesnt sound like a winner sweetie, I'd move on.

you need to calm down it can be one of three things
1]he likes you but is in a relationshipand doesnt want to hurt the person
2]he doesnt like u bit doesnt want to hurt u or seem rough
3]he just flirts with you so you when he is done with his present relationship two of u might have a chance

It sounds to me as though he's saying he just wants to be friends, nothing more. Don't pin any hopes on being his girlfriend. He's probably already got someone, and he's just messing with you.

cool things off with him and be distant, - but always pleasant.
or you could ask him outright just WHY is he not in a position to be with you.
