I'm faced with a difficult decision right now. But I am seeking information that perhaps some of you guys might be willing to share?

I plan on joining the Air Force sooner or later, but I don't know if I should complete Community College and get that Associate's degree first. My question to you all would be -- Would I be having an advantage if I waited a while longer or would it be wiser to just join in at full force? Thank you, and I appreciate any help in advance!

Honestly I would take a couple of classes at a community college first, like history, something easy and take the CLEP test too.
If I remember , if you have at least 21 credits you would be bump up in rank form an E-1 to E-2, which is a good start,
like the guy above me, go ahead and use the GI Bill to help pay for college. Also the Air Force has a Coumminuty College, where you can also attend.
Just used this link for more updated infomation.

There are 2 classes of people in the AF,
Officers (4 year college degree minimum) and
Enlisted which are trained from scratch .
Your AA will mean nothing in there. They will train you to work in whichever field , their way .
Join first , then use the GI bill to pay for further college when you get out .
