Are vaccinations good and prevent disease or cause disbilties?

As for vaccinations being good at preventing disease, yes they are but they are not without risk and some people do have problems from the vaccines. We (my mom and I) think that the problems I had in childhood may have come from the DPT shot (this vaccine goes by another name now).
