I like working out but i dislike walking a lot. Mostly because it's slow and it's allergy season, besides that i just hate walking. Is it normal to like exercising but hate walking??

Not like walking short distances. just walking more then 2 miles to get to somewhere you need to go.

Try swimming, it is a great cardio work out. Or an aerobics class. I'm the opposite I like to walk because it's easier on my shins. I love swimming and funny but I love step classes, so high energy!

I think it is for some people, me I am the opposite. I hate actual exercise, and love walking.. lol. So in place of exercise I play Dance Dance Revolution which is a great substitute.. I also dont get to walk very much so it helps in that area too. Its my all around exercise routine. Its fun so it keeps my interest.

Allergy season does make walking outside less than enjoyable: This is true.

Everyone has their preferred form of exercise. Walking is just the most convenient (and useful) one.

Of course, just like everyone has a preference of what types of exercise they prefer. Nothing odd about it at all!
