Hmph no offense but common sense should tell you that both statements mean the same thing

Yes, he will. Trust me on this one. My bf must be the last guy who would ever use the L word. He was visibly uncomfortable to even say, "I love you, too." He would mumble the words so quickly. Now after we're together for 2 years, he started to tell me he loves me first without me saying it to him first. It's a great feeling. When you get to that point in your relationship, it means you're both very secure in it and very comfortable in how each other feels. Also, it will mean a lot to you when he says it first because you know he means it.

Well, sister, I say to you, when did he say what was the ciorcumstance I hate to say this but if it was after a physical moment than you need to find a time to bring up when its more appropiate, women we become very emotional when sex and love become one. So I may say something to him as gently as you can, but never to sound judgemental or extremely hurt, if you feel that he doesnt entirely reciprocate evelaute where the relationship would go in terms of teh future exchanges of emotions, women should never say I love you first, but thats my opinion

You'll never know until you try... I said it first to my husband and we got into that habit. So when I began to wonder just like you, I held out. I didn't say anything about it for a few days and eventually he said it. It can be strange to be the one saying it, especially if he has difficulty being open about his emotions. On the upside, he did say he loves you, so don't be worrying about it!

Just wait ... as things progress he might become more comfortable expressing his feelings.

Then again, some people say I love you just to get what they want or to appease the other person.

Other people just throw those words around like they mean nothing. When they are heartfelt, they are worth waiting for.

Good luck!

Stop saying it yourself after a while he might ask why you don' t say it any more then you can explain how you like to be the reciever and not the giver all the time it will make him think. I know it might be hard but sometimes it works.

Dont say it for awhile and I know this is going to be hard but if he doesnt say it after that for awhile he will never say it but try really not to say it for like a week.He will ask you whats wrong and you say what you mean. Believe me if you dont say it he be wondering whats up and he will say it if he cares about you if he doesnt girl its time to move on.

Are you so insecure that you need him too, or can't you just tell he loves you that way. Don't come off as too insecure, it's a turn off for many men.

Actions speak louder than words.

i dunno maybe you should stop saying it so much and then you will find out. seriously, not to be rude, but if you tell him all the time then you can't be mad for not telling you first, cuz you always beat him to hte punch ya know? Stop being so insecure and know that you are loved and you don't have to say it everyday for it to still be there.
