That should be "eternal life in Heaven".

So, what you're saying is, you only love Jesus because you're afraid of going to Hell if you don't?

Are you going to continue to love and worship Satan even though it definitely means you're going to Hell?
No man can serve two masters. If you are not serving God then you are serving the Devil.

Well, the bible give no evidence of a fiery hell. For instance Ecclesiastic 9:5 &10 Said tha the living arre conscioud that they will die, but the dead are conscious of nothing.
Also in Pslams it said in Ps. 146:4 His spirit goes out , he goes back to the ground, and in that day his thoughts do perish.
So I know Jesus speaks of a fiery Gehena...But it has a historical back ground.
This is not exactly the format for a long explanation.
So if you wish to know why the dead feel nothing HELL? NOTHING or why Jesus spoke of Gehenna then use the Yahoo answeres to E-mail me and I will attempt to explain as best as I can

I know there is NO HELL , so I have no worry about an imagionary place.

This question makes no sense. The existence and Crucifixion of Jesus was to enable heavenly afterlife, so if this were not the case, why would Jesus have been here at all? If he was not our savior, there would be not point and no Christianity. So, I guess if Christianity did not exist, then there would be no Jesus, so how could I love him? My faith in God is not determined on my rewards, but I can't see past the kinks in your question to answer it in the manner you've asked.

What an oxymoron of a question! The whole purpose of Christs sacrifice is for the payment of sins and reward of eternal life in heaven. It would be sadistic/unholy of God to require us to love Jesus and then send us to hell for it. God is perfectly Holy, pure, righteous, and just.

That has to be the silliest one I"ve heard yet. Jesus is my assurance of eternal life with him and God,and I don"t have to worry about going to hell because he has already done that for me.

You are the perfect example of why this is a great country. Where you can openly discuss ideas and opinions. Isn't freedom great. To be able to practice your own religion, or convert, or to not believe in God. You seem like a good kid who is exercising true freedom. You are a great example of what freedom means.

Yes, I would still love Him. For me it has never been about reward, it is about truth.

Even if I got nothing. Because I know Jesus to be the truth then my search for truth leads to Jesus. It is that simple.

A Christian believes Jesus is the route to salvation, while Satan is the route to damnation. You are asking what would happen if we equated Jesus with Satan, which, by definition, makes no sense at all.

I think it would be better said that He loves me.

It is God that reaches out, not me.

Have you heard of the sheep helping the shepherd?
No; I didn't think so.
