Grapefruit & sea salt scrub: 3 tablespoons sea salt, stirred in with 6 drops of grapefruit essential oil. Rub all over dry skin, then rinse. Grapefruit is a detoxifier, and the salt exfoliates.
Olive oil & lavender foot scrub: add 2 teaspoons sea salt to 6 tablespoons of olive oil, then stir. Add 20 drops of lavender essential oil to the mixture, then apply to the foot in small, circular motions. The olive oil moisturizes, and the lavender relaxes you.
Almond, honey & lemon facial scrub: combine 2 tablespoons ground almonds (fine oatmeal if you're allergic) with 2 tablespoons good quality honey and 2 tablespoons lemon juice. Mix together, then apply to face in small circular motions, avoiding the eyes. The almonds exfoliate, honey hydrates, and lemon juice tones the pores.
Peppermint & rosemary body scrub: use 4 tablespoons unscented shower gel. Add 2 tablespoons each of very finely chopped peppermint and rosemary leaves, 1 tablespoon fine sea salt, and 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil.

My favorite scrub is light brown sugar. I just buy a $1 bag at wal mart and take half of it in the shower with me once a week. If it is too harsh try mixing in some honey.

I put some olive oil in a container and then some sugar and use that. You can also use a coarse salt instead of sugar - just dont use this if you are shaving. I also would not let too much of this go down your drain.

A really good scrub is to spread honey on your skin, then mix coarse salt over it and scrub. The honey moisturizes and softens skin while the salt exfoliates.
