What did Jesus think of oncology specialists in non socialized medical practices?

Jesus said he came to heal the sick, and that in the future people would do even greater works than he did. He could heal by prayer and touch, and indeed it is more widespread today to be experienced or educated in the healing arts.

Some people may work through medicine or surgery; others by healing in other ways or by focusing on other aspects that do not require traditional medicine. The key importance is to heal sickness of the spirit, mind and physical body as one so that the whole person receives healing.

I think Jesus would emphasize openness and willingness to receive healing as a more important factor than the different roles we may play in society in order to achieve that end. We need healing on all levels, so there will be people called to serve in a variety of disciplines and fields of medicine, both public and private, professional and charitable. All of these can be used for good.
