Me!I really can't afford all those Jenny Craig and Weight Wachter etc.I keep telling my husband that I will lose weight, but haven't.I am sorry to say that my husband does not believe me anymore.I am literally crying out for help.

I lost 60lbs. I woke up one day and was totally repulsed by all the junk food in my house. Seriously. I dont know why but it was like i had over-indulged for the last time and my body couldnt take it anymore and was demanding a change. So i took advantage of this freak incident and that day i threw out every last unhealthy/processed thing in my cupboards.
I cut out every unhealthy food, no exceptions. In the grocery store i completely bypassed all the bad aisles and did my shopping quickly - no wandering aimlessly around fantasizing about meals and drooling in the chocolate/cookies section!
I started to go for brisk walks early in the morning until my fitness improved a little, then i jogged. I never drank soda anyway, i was always a water girl, so that helped i guess. Many many glasses of water a day.
My daily calorie intake was 1,200 and it was mostly fruit, salad and fish. My only 'indulgence' was natural peanut butter. And my biggest crime when i was heavy was eating at night - i was AWFUL for doing that because i would begin every day saying 'im not going to eat today'. I would always succeed until about 6pm and then the hunger would completely take over and i would eat more than i would have if i had just decided to 'eat well' instead of 'starve' to begin with. Then i would go to bed overstuffed and very depressed. So on my new diet i never ate after 8pm and that made a huge difference - i cannot praise that single act enough!
So thats about it. Comfortable exercise, lots of water, and as much as you like of healthy foods. I didnt eat any sugar, caffeine or gluten (no gluten pretty much meant no carbs for me - my only carbs came from brown rice and nuts), and i switched to soy products instead of dairy.
Good luck!:)

Just look at it as a challenge you will over come. Know that it can't happen like magic, but with your determination and will power, you can make it happen. If all you have is a treadmill, start walking/jogging, 45 minutes a day. Keep doing it until you can run on it. Cardio is incredibley important for weight loss. Take a walk around the park sometimes, or get outside...just keep moving. Don't get sunk into the couch. Always be active.
Also, eat right, chicken, fish, fresh veggies, fruit, etc. This will take will power if you are not familiar with eating right. But you can do it. count your calories, make a food journal of everything you eat.
Just keep thinking positive and you can do it.

Hi there, I used a diet from shapeworks that helped me to lose 62 pounds. It took about nine months and wasnt always easy but I had great support from the people who helped me with the products and their constant advice and help was invaluable. It was well worth it, my overall health has improved as well as losing all my weight. Try www.myhealthabc.net, they are not pushy or anything and will I am sure give you what you need. My program cost me about two dollars twenty cents per meal, it actually saved me money on my regular food bills. They will take into account your budget and try to ensure that you dont spend any more money than you do now. They did this for me and I don't see why they can't do it for you. I hope this helps, good luck.

I lost 100 lbs. by watching what I ate, drinking lots of water, and exercising every day. I did drink slimfast for a while, but mostly I changed my habits to things I could live with. there is lots of good information on the web, so I'll post a couple of sites. you can lose 4-5 pounds a week at first, but losing 2 a week is better to keep it off. just take it a day at a time and you CAN lose all the weight you want. good luck!

Walking with 3 pound hand weights. Start slow then build up to about 2 miles a day. If you can walk different ground, flat, hills. Belly dancing burns alot of calories and strengthens your body for easier child birth. You can buy DVDs to workout to on eBay. Eat egg white scrambled wth fresh vegetables and salsa for breakfast, lots of veggies and fruit, whole wheat tortillas with chicken and veggies, fat free sugar free puddings for snack. Once you get started and begin to eat healthy, it becomes a way of life, and you will find it is all about you and not about your husband and how he perceives you. Good luck!
