If the scan was clear forget about it. I once had an episode like this and it was put down to stress, which i thought was ridiculous at the time, but looking back - yes i think it was.

You are probably the only one who can answer this question. The cat scan only rules out a neurological cause. Some of the clues you need to figure out the cause are: What were you doing before you passed out? Did you skip any meals before hand? Do you have any symptoms of diabetes? Did you have a fever, or have you recently had the flu? Is your blood pressure normal? Do you get dizzy when you suddenly stand up after lying down? Were you worried about something when the incident occurred? Do you occasionally have panic attacks? Do you have migraine headaches? Anything else you can think of that might be related?

Stitches in your head means you hit our head or something similar. It sounds like a really bad concussion. This is where the brain gets bruised a little. If they released you from the ER, and your scan is clear, a concussion is probably the case, yet if you start throwing up, symptoms get worse, you develop confusion, you experience any unusual sleepiness, or if your symptoms do not go away in a day or 2, get it checked out again & have them do a repeat CT or MRI. I hope this was helpful & be careful

If the Ct scan is clear it can`t be too serious. Could you have been too hot? My daughter does this when she overheats.

There could be lot's of causes, low blood sugar, low blood pressure, anemia,etc....
Lot's of factors could be contributing, hopefully you got checked out real well when you got your stitches.
I hope they did some blood work and that you will follow up with the Dr.
