Mow the yard, plant some flowers, breakfest in bed, laundry, vaccuming, wash the car, clean your room, wash the windows, take out the trash...the list can go on. Be creative.

Or, get a part time job. It's only $195.00. That is nothing.

Well, I am sure she would like the money back.
But if it came to not getting the money then ya need to work for what you borrowed.
Just to show that you dont just take but you also give.

DO THIS:
Laundry
do the dishes
rake the leaves
mow the lawn
shovel the driveway
fix broken things
clean the house
clean the bathrooms
do a lot of cooking
take care of pets/ bathe/ feed
fix the car
clean/wash the car
help her with arrands
if she says do something, DO IT. no complaining. that gets you in big trouble.

Hey I am a mother and this is what I would have my children do if they didnt owe me back in money.
Good luck.
:)

You should be responsible and pay your mother back. It's not about what you can do for her around the house it's about you owing her the money. Maybe you should ask your mom if their is any way that you can work it off. If she says no then you may need to figure out something else.

First of all, ask your mother if she would accept payment in hours of work done rather than cash. If she'd rather have the cash, then you're out of luck. But if she accepts your offer of work, then let her choose the jobs and the pay per hour. Do not try and negotiate! You may suggest jobs. Then, do the jobs cheerfully. When you're done, ask your mom if there's anything else you can do, just because you appreciate her so much!

P.S. If you don't have a job, get one soon! Ask your parents or someone you trust to teach you how to budget.

My Stepdaughter is 13 and I loaned her 40 dollars and told her that she has 2 months to pay me back. She gets allowence and babysits, but hasnt even tried to pay me back. So I had her get all of the laundry caught up (for 20 of it) and she is going to have to work off the other 20. I will not loan to her again for a year. She abused the privlage to borrow from me. She has 3 brothers and they charge interest, so she will learn a lesson this next year.

I don't know what your mother would want you to do. But talk to her. I have a feeling you are young. She might garnish all allowance (if you get one). Getting a job might not be the ultimate solution for you might still be in school and I think your mom would like focus on school rather than worrying about paying her. Odd jobs for neighbors, friends or sibblings might pay you an ok amount to save to pay your mom.

Sweep and mop the kitchen floor, clean the bathroom, dust & vaccum, for 4 weeks and then clean the oven and frige as interest!

Where do all these morans get off saying mow the lawn, that's the Dad's job, not the Mother's, unless of course there is no Dad in the home, then it should already be your job!!!

You should figure out a way to pay her back monetarily, but if you really don't want to do that then ask her if there is anything you can do around the house. Do odd jobs for her, mow the lawn, take out the garbage, do the dishes etc.

However, your best bet is just to pay her back with a job.

I hate to tell you this but the best thing you could do for her is giver her money back. Its the best and nicest thing 2 do. That way she can spend it on whatever she wants. if you dont want 2 give her actual cash then just giver her a Visa Gift card. She can use it anywhere she wants even to pay her bills!

The most important job a son can do for their mother whom they borrowed a 195.00 from would be being respect full.

You borrowed the money pay her back she loaned you the money and sounds to me like you are looking for a way to get out of paying what you owe.

Better yet go to a grocery store and try to pay for your groceries by tell them oh I will sweep your floor. go to a bank get a loan and tell them I will pay you back by vacuuming your floor. Grow up and pay up.
