However, you'll find this argued many times in many places, the reason being the divisions existin within Christianism, and also the difficulty to establish the actual number of muslims in the world, as well as how many chinese still maintain their traditional religion.

sure, at 2.1 or so billion. out of a world population that ranges somewhere in the 6 to 7 billion, that is still a minority view. And that is lumping all kinds of christians together, which otherwise they would not appreciate. Strange how that works.
