I don't think so. I think both names are pretty and have beautiful meanings, but together it is a little much. I have a niece name Constance and she is beautiful, but her middle name is Ann, so it is not too much. Prudence would also be pretty with another name. Of course, she is your child and ultimately, it is up to you. Trust me, when she hits the teenage years, you will know if she doesn't like it. I named my youngest Brittany Madison - which is really hard for her in school because it is so long - she is 8. But, your the mom - its your decision.

going for a character name? It sounds so familuar but I cannot put my finger on it where I have heard that particular name together. I personally love unique names, I like both. I know lots of girls name Constance, prudence to me is an interesting name, I think it makes a good second name. not a first name but definatly a second name. Name your daughter what ever calls to your heart. if it has significants to you, then don't listen to what others say.

Sorry but I am not very fond of Prudence. Constance is okay, maybe Constance Marie, or something like that.

no...its a mouth full first of all...and second of all it's not very pretty. Drop the the middle name and go with Constance Joy or Constance Marie.....something that has a nice ring but doesn't sound the same.

Makes me think of the show Charmed. I like Pru as a nickname, so I'd go with it. I can't think of a good nickname for Constance - so Ima have to go against the grain on this one and say that's just too Quaker-ish IMHO. But do what makes you happy.

It's a bit much - especially Prudence! I wouldn't use either name but it's your choice.
Good luck!
