You'll have to define what you mean by smoothie diet. Having a smoothie for lunch is a great idea. You get vitamins and nutrients in, you can also get a good number of the fruits and vegetables in one break and smoothies are a great hunger suppresser. But do some research on it. Buying smoothies at a store may have several negatives. They may add sugar or not include real fruit but instead canned fruits, covered in simple syrup or powdered fruits which involve few nutrients.
Also be aware the portion. Supersized large smoothies may have more calories than many other fast food options. Also you eat the smoothie instead of lunch instead of a smoothie then lunch.
Just check out the calories and make sure you research low-cal smoothie receipes.

It's never a good idea to diet in any way shape or form. You need to stick to a plan of eating ever 3 hrs. to fuel your body and only eat good food. Smoothies are great but make them with no sugar. You HAVE to stay away from sugar.

If you are unhappy with your appearence, then go for it. But if you are a normal good size, don't bother. I personally like smoothies, any kind. But I tried not to be bias.
You could go to the website to see if you are a good weight.
Good Luck:)

haha i've tried that one last summer. didnt work much for me. i go on the "water, fruit, and veggie" diet for a week or two and i run..it always makes me loose weight. in my opinion, smoothies have a LOT of sugar, unless they are homemade i guess..but they're still sugary. fruits and veggies are good for you so you're still getting some of your nutrients, although not all.
