I think my male friend is falling for his FWB but he wont admit it, as he was never proud of her due to her weight issues. But I really think he enjoys her company and finds her very reliable and nice. I became friends with the girl and wanted to help her so I told her I will help her with her weight issues. I hope I'm right on the part that he will commit to her if she lose weight. What do you guys think?

Certainly you will be doing her a great service by helping her lose weight. It will help her health, her self-esteem, etc. Hopefully once she is more confident she'll realize that a guy who's ashamed of how she looks is a loser and she can do way better.

I'm the same height/age as you. I want to be skinny too, but 110 is a little much. I weighed 126 at my lowest ( I gained like five pounds since; don't worry, I'm working on that...haha) and a lot of that was muscle because I play a bunch of sports and run A LOT. and I can honestly tell you that you don't need to lose more. You are perfect, if not a little bit under. When I was 126, whenever the doctors weighed me they said I needed to stop losing weight, "or else." Just exercise and eat healthy; don't deny yourself some treats every now then either! Do a little bit of ab work if you want, but your height/weight is perfect.

Why would he commit if she loses weight ? I think he only sees her as a friend not as a girl friend if he really liked her as a girlfriend weight shouldn't matter.

if he is not gonna go out with her because of her weight then he is really shallow!! thats terrible if ur friend wont date somebody because of there weight ur FWB shouldnt have to change for the guy its not worth it he should like her for who she is not just becuase she may not have what u so call "A hot body" or unbelievably skinny!

If you really care for someone you should be with them regardless of their weight, looks, or any other physical reason. I hear it all of the time about my man....you are too pretty for him, he is ugly. I don't care what anyone says because he makes me happy. So if i had to lose weight for someone to want me, then I wouldn't give them the time of day!!!

I think that if she has to loose weight for a commitment from him, he is an *** and she shouldn't want a commitment from him.....She should find someone who will commit to her no matter what she looks like.

No. Losing weight won't help. You literally just asked a question about this. You should just move on.

And what is FWB?!

HELL NO lady dont get involved. if she wont do it on her own then shes lazy and if she get depressed shes going to inhale more than she'll exhale. LAST BUT NOT LEAST he needs to find a woman that has those qualities with a body he'll accept.

I don't think he will. He's getting all the good stuff now. He doesn't need a relationship from her to get the benefits, so why should he commit?

If someone doesn't want to be with her unless she loses weight then he is not worth her time, she deserves someone who wants to be with her for who she is not what she looks like.
