no, he would tell you to give up your money and
give to the poor people with starving children.

yes he can, and he gave us the saints to help out with things like this, in your case, you would pray to St. Joseph to intercede with our lead to get you a good job, St. Joseph is the patron saint of workers, I prayed for this very thing and my answer did not take long at all and came in the form of a nursing job, something id never even considered though nursing is WHERE ITS AT buddy, thats all they ever need when you look in the classified ads.. theres a huge nursing shortage, always overtime available, good pay, let me give you this example,
Triangle Tech Institute - Carpentry program - 15 months long -cost? over $20,000. starting pay when you graduate and get a job? $7-$12 an hour (around here almost all places start you out at 7 an hour)
Certified Nurses Aide - training program - 3 weeks long - cost? $350 - $500 pay when you graduate? $8-$12 an hour
thats not even a nurse thats a nurses aide!!! at the very bottom of the list!!
it goes Nurses Aide(which takes three weeks training)
Licensed Practical Nurse (1 year program)
Registered nurse (2 year program)
LPN's generally start at $13-$17 an hour
Registered Nurses $20-$25 an hour
thats just in my state, in the big cities in California I'm told nurses start at $33 an hour
Nurses in hospitals almost always make more than Nurses in Nursing homes, then there are "manager nurses" i think theyre called charge nurses, they are the experienced ones who are like the head nurses, my aunt was offered a job as a charge nurse at $65 an hour, so theres alot of money to be made in nursing, and i somehow doubt i ever would have thought of this career if i hadnt prayed about it, i was going to triangle tech for carpentry but got kicked out and prayed to St. Joseph to help me find a good job.

I was out of work for a long time. I kept on praying to Our Lord and to the Father. Out of no where, my resume wound up on the desk of a big executive. Next thing you know, I was hired at a great salary, a corner office and benefits.
So to answer your question - YES

Yes of course, but remember... he is famous for "helping those who help themselves" ! Don't sit around and wait, you get out there and get your education or training in the job you want, and work for it then ask Him to bless your efforts.

I think having faith in Jesus can help you appriciate what you have, and get what you deserve to have. Maybe you should pray for what you NEED.

The most accurate answer I have heard was from a Rabbi. He stated that God/Jesus DOES answer all your prayers.....it's just that most of the time the answer is no.
