This is tough, HAIR IRONS dosen't that make it clear enough there are none that are safe to use on your hair. It burns it's just an easier form of an iron, bet you didn't think of it in that way. the best hair irons i know are definatly GHD but the healthiest is definatly not using any at all. remember your hair is fragile, think, is this good for my hair, try puting your hair up more often. then you can use normal hair straightners with less damage effect. hope all goes well.

GHDs are amazing but they are too expensive for me, I've got through a couple of pairs and ended up getting a cheap pair for just £30 and it does JUST as good a job and they are Babyliss ones. As long as they are ceramic and go up to 230 degrees for me it works, and my hair is really thick and long. Don't be persuaded to buy professional flat irons because you end up paying a lot of money just for the name, and you find they are just the same as the cheaper ones.

I am a hairdresser and I use Paul Mitchell, 1 1/2" flat iron. It costs about $120, I think. It's so good because it get hot enough to flatten stubborn hair. Remember to use heat protectant spray if you use any iron! Good luck!

a Flat Iron from a salon by Hot Tools....comes with a lifetime guarantee. Also Kenra has a product that protects your hair from curling and flat irons called Thermal Styling spray. you spritz your hair before flat ironing it and it will protect it. They have it at any salon or a place like Trade Secret.♥♥

They all damage to some degree, in my opinion ghd's are the best. As a salon owner i've tried and tested most of them! If you use a thermal protector and get a regular trim on your hair, damage should be minimal.

Sorry they all damage hair! But the better ones are Paul Mitchell and Chi. To prevent damage to your hair, you are going to have to use products, like heat protectants, detanglers, etc.

Sedu is the best!!! It dosen't pull your hair and straightens it quickly. It leaves your hair smooth and shiny. You can get it at www.folica.com or at salons. Plus it has a wide temperature range so that you can adjust to your hair type.
