Why are you guilty?
Guilt should only be an emotion when you have done something you should not have done. If you are talking about the Judeo/Christian Guilt, that is pushed into you by Rabbi's, Priest, and ministers. You are born innocent and the concept of the original sin should not be lain on your head

I don't know that it would fall under the category of emotion. Guilt is a result of disobediance to the conscience. The real question is...how different would the world be if men/women did not have a conscience? Why do we have an innate sense of right and wrong...where did that come from? Evolution? Doubtful...

People act as though they have no feeling of guilt anyway. I mean it's that's the case, all the crimes wouldn't occur.
Besides, without ANY feeling of guilt (not a human emotion), this world would be completely destroyed. It would be devastation everywhere.

Don't think we would be here right now. Even Hitler had guilt, enough that he knew he had to kill himself rather then face that guilt. And the punishment that guilt would bring, surely.

There would be more auto-stimulation. Like the baboons in the zoo.
