Actually, the consumption of spaghetti, or any pasta for that matter, is the nearest things to a sacrament in pastafarianism. After all, if you are what you eat, then through eating spaghetti one is necessarily becoming closer to the divine.
I do believe however it's a sin to eat migits and/or pirates.... I don't get it either. :-/

From what I understand of my extensive study of Pastafarianism, it is actually a commandment to "Eat thereof of the plentiful pasta and smother it liberally in Parmesan cheese. And verily I say unto you, let your Parmesan be of your own grating. Let the grating be done of the cheese. And lo, the Lord smiteth fake crap."

No. The Flying Spaghetti Monster isn't actually made out of pasta anyways, He just chooses to take the form of pasta.

I believe it is the basis of the Pastafarian's belief in the FSM. They must consume of the Master to feel the work of His noodley appendage.
