He may like it, but he could be too sensitive to it. If he is throwing up more than he eats, then he needs to go back to the vet.

There was just a person here a few days ago who said the same thing about Beniful. IT probably is the food and maybe your pup has a sensitive stomach. There are much better food on the market and you should really look into these.
Some are: Canidea, Timber Wolf, Invona, Wellness. These are all natural and have no wheat or corn or by products.
Try a small bag of one of these and see if your dog like one of them.

I personally feed my dogs Canidea and they love the food.

Some times puppies just throw up. Try a diff rent kind of Beneful. Maybe they have a puppy formula for sensitive stomachs.

There can be many more causes of vomiting than having something stuck in the throat - in fact this is one of the least likely causes. I really hope your vet investigated some other possibilities - if he really didn't, take the dog to another vet!

your dog may be too sensitive for the beneful. try putting him on the healthy growth for puppies beneful kind. it has a blue background on the bag. I would actually switch him to a dry dog food for puppies.

he also could be eating too much food at one time - which is causing him to throw up the extra food... think of it when you stuff yourself with food -- dont you feel sick to your stomach when you eat to much? i know i do...

look at purina.com for more options.

He could have a problem such as mega esophagus...I'd get a second opinion at a different vet...expect him to have some xrays taken. Is he up to date on vaccinations? Any lethargy or other symptoms?

try switching him to another dog food by gradually adding a better quality of dog food with the one he is eating now , with each feeding give him more of the new food until he has completely switched.
