use lotion after every time you wash your hands. I have friends who used cetaphil thearputic and they said that it worked really well. However, its different for every person. But you wont know till you try it!!

I use Eucerin in the morning and at night, and also after I wash my hands. Washing hands strips away essential oils your skin needs, and cream right after this puts some of them back. The trick is to keep applying the cream. Soon they won't be as rough. But keep in mind, it may take a while.

One of my favorite products is Herbal Serenity Instant Manicure from BeautiControl. It is a salt scrub, which exfoliates the dead skin off...then the natural oils in this product moisturize and protect your skin and nails.

A nice compliment to this is their Extreme Repair Hand Therapy creme. I put this on after the Instant Manicure, it locks in the moisture and has a 3-wash memory. Which means you can wash your hands and the creme won't disappear completely until the third hand washing. It's great!

Dr. Hiosous, a neighborhood physician, commissioned Bigelow to create this special formula with moisture-retaining quince fruit extract and antioxidant-packed carrot seed oil.Fragrance-Free. Developed by Bigelow Chemists.
Domestic.

I used to be a home health cna, I had to wash my hands, and pull gloves on and off constantly and this lotion worked for me. Actually when I washed my hands I didn't even have to reapply the lotion, my hands stayed moisturized. Just try a sample at your local BBW and I hope you like it.

"One Minute Manicure" works really well- Its a scrub with some light oils in it. Also use a thick hand cream at night with gloves. Burts Bees makes a really good Shea Hand Repair Cream, it smells a little different but it works- try their cuticle cream too. Also there is a cream called "Yu-Be Skin Cream" you can get it at yu-be.com . Its really good for the driest of the dry!

Use something that is thick like Aveeno or Eucerin, it feels greasy at first, but it works better than watery lotions to hold moisture in the skin. Use it every time you wash your hands also and leave them a little wet when you apply the cream.

I have cetaphil here myself and its supposed to work.
My own hands are soft enough and I dont like putting cream on my hands too greasy.
Nivea cream is a great moisturizer as is Aveeno cream.
Keri lotion is excellent for dry skin...it's a classic.
