If god is so great how come he can't prove that he exists?

He could prove that he exists but then it wouldn't be faith. How can we find God if he's there infront of us. How can you find something without looking. God gave us free will and that gives us the choice to look for him, we can't choose not to look for him is he's staring us in the face.

God could prove that he exists. For the time being he chooses not to prove he exists. One day he will prove to everyone that he exists but by then it will be too late for those who did not have faith before.
