Sometimes scientists crossbreed plants and we get results such as the tangelo. I would like to know, as a hypothetical question, what two flowers people think would make an interesting hybrid.

Crossing a rose with a crabapple to produce a flowering tree with large fragrant blossoms all summer.

(Watchout out for the crabby thorns though...)

A rose and an orchid
or even better a sunflower and a gerber daisey (picture that)
This was a good question it has me thinkin now i love flowers.

I think the Pansy and the Venus Fly Trap would be good a great combination .

I'd try my two favorite blooms -- orange tiger lillies & purple irises! It's gotta come out great any way you mix it up! I'd call them "Tigrises".
