Well, the maximum weight a person should lose in a week is about 2 pounds. That, however, 2 pounds of body fat. The "quick fix" diets make you lose weight quickly, but it is water weight and will come right back. I don't recommend trying any of the really drastic diets. Drinking more water, eating less carbs and more protein, watching your daily calorie intake, and intensifying your workouts for the next week might help you out.

You can easily lose 3 to 5 pounds in one week! Eat lots of chicken or fish and veg tables for lunch and dinner, egg whites and turkey bacon for breakfast, mid morning and mid afternoon snacks, like V-8 or another cup of cereal, and drink lots of water. Also, exercise a lot. Good luck!
