do they work and if so how soon can you feel the effects because I like to use it to learn Pre-Algebra and Algebra which I am not good at.

Ginko doesn't do crap. You could try an Alzheimer's med like Aricept or Namenda, but I doubt if the doctor would give you a prescription. But, there's no need to enhance your memory if you don't understand what you are learning. Try going to a tutor at your school.

Do not take supplements without first consulting your doctor, second get a math tutor. Algebra is hard(I'm not good at it either) but taking pills won't make you any smarter, the only way to truly be good at something is to study study study.

I tried ginko biloba. In fact, my whole family did. We didn't notice any change. Just eat lots of protein, eggs, fish, etc. to boost brain power.
