I'll be quite honest with you. I go to different sections for different reasons. I'll go to the sports section simply because I am a sports man. I'll go to Polls and Surveys just to goof around. I go to many other categories. Anyway I post here and contribute here mostly because this is where I have alot of friends at. Not that I don't make friends in other categories. This section is one of if not the most interesting sections on Yahoo Answers. I like learning about different things as well as trying to teach things as well. I have learned some stuff from this category. I was really reluctant to come here in the beginning but in a way I'm glad that I came here. I would like to say thank you to you and to all that I consider to be my friends in this category.

I think some of the people that frequent this section are some of the smartest most understanding people I've ever gotten to know. I enjoy hearing your opinions.

There are people really seeking answers and others are seeking to insult and make fun. I enjoy see the questions.
I'm wondering how many have truly repented by reading some of the answers.
I also get a prayer list of people to pray for their soul.

I like talking about religion.
Also, the literature board is full of (mainly) twits who want to cheat on their book reports or talk about Harry Potter, and the food section is really slow. R&S is at least amusing.

To learn mostly. It's entertaining at times, as well.
I learned something quite interesting. Because of my Nietzschean proclivities, it turns out I'm an odd mixture of Buddhist and Pagan. I'm not sure I knew that before.

I have changed my reasons many times now
I joined because I thought I could share about my own religion and thought I may meet likeminded people
I do seem to be on my own here though in my beliefs ( apart from dear mrs avatard )
I stay because I have some very dear friends here
and I wish to remain because this world lacks tolerance and peace and I hope to bring more of that
and I have learned sooooo much about other faiths

It's a "universe next door" thing.
The world views are often alien, but they are held by people who, in this modern age, are effectively my neighbours.
I need to be aware, and informed.
There may even be better thoughts out there than mine...
Plus it can be fun, and it keeps my mind alert.
