first I real do not think she should ever do that again and second if she is hyperventilating (panic attack) a paper bag is good. if she breaths in and out of it keeping it over her mouth for a time she will get her breathing back to normal. please make sure its a paper bag.
take care Lisa

Well first off, you can NOT overdose on weed. At high doses if can cause panic attacks and even a "trip" in some people. But it's not an overdose as it does not put you in significant danger at that time. The best thing would be to stay with you're friend when you can look after them because it won't last forever so help them through it. If it lasts a long time say a month or more then it may be worth seeing a doctor and they would probably be able to help, though this is very unlikely and my advice would be to help them through this time but no more. And don't smoke any cannabis with this person and get them to stay off it for a while. While this is quite a rare scenario it's not unheard of and you're going to get through it fine.

First of all.. there is no such thing as an overdose on weed.. lol...
I smoke weed, like most smoke cigarettes. I know it does different things to different people. I'm assuming that your friend didn't know what to look for, taste, or smell for.. Whomever gave her the weed must have put something else in it.. THC can cause depression, but not for 4 days straight. that's just absurd. Either the weed was laced, or your Friend has a problem that she's not sharing with you. Weed, is less harmless than most over the counter meds. Do some research my friend... I'm not telling you from a book i read, I'm telling you from 14 years of being stoned. She needs to get some help because something else is going on.. research crystal meth. you may find an answer.. but then again, you may not. but thats what i'm leaning towards. and yes, meth can sometimes have a 4 day effect

I once read a guy who took 250mg of a research cannabonoid. BTW the amount of this stuff to get stoned is about 10-20mg ORAL. So as you can see he took WAY TOO MUCH. I think I did once about 30-40mg ORAL and it was like almost dying and I was just really stoned, it was intense, so intense my vision was very wavy and colours changed alot, I had a huge chest pain. 10-20mg is usually good. The cannabinoid was pure, not plant materal like marijuana is. Not only that it's about 2-5 times more potent than THC. But the point I wanna make is regardless of the guy doing 250mg and going really insane he is still alive. So in a sense when it comes to Marijuana and smoking you WONT die from an O/D. But an overdose means you took over your dose. So if you smoke a little too much and you get alot of side effects, you've really overdosed but that doesn't result in death.

that happened to me too, exact same story. smoking weed is a stimulant in your body, even though it's calming.
i'd say to not smoke weed that often or not as much at a time. also, limit other stimulants, like coffee, chocolate, sugar, soda, and anything with sugar or caffeine... especially energy drinks, which are more dangerous than weed.
drink more water, eat more vegetables, get more sunlight. less drinking, which would make your body stressed.
i used to have anxiety, and it all stopped when i slowed down on the bad things. she doesn't have to live with it her whole life, it's very curable if you take the right steps to preventing it. how do you know if you no longer have anxiety? if you don't get anxiety attacks anymore. aspartame should also be avoided (sweet & low) and other artificial sweeteners (splenda).

Its called paranoia! Next time she smokes, she needs to smoke a lot less because she can't handle it. Also, if your a male asking about a female friend, she probably is saying things to get your attention because she likes you. I once knew a girl who would say things like that after she smoked or drink. Maybe she just wants some attention.

It was more than weed. It must have been treated with something. She needs to see a dr. I had anxiety attacks due to emotional trauma & my dr prescirbed Lorazepam. I rarely have them anymore, but I take one if I feel it coming on & it stops it or makes it less severe.

Source of any anxiety attack is fear (hath torment).
The root source of fear (torment) is law (legalism).
Simple solution: flushing law flushes sin and death.
Flushing sin & death also flushes fear(hath torment).
Perfect love hath no fear. It's biblically called "charity".
Charity never fails is neither of 2 loves in Mt 22:36-40.
Grace is sufficient is neither of 2 laws in Mt 22: 36-40.
More Excellent: neither broadmindead nor narrowmindead.
The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.
