No, because an embryonic stem cell isn't a person. It's a cell. People are composed of trillions of cells, differentiated to perform various tasks. An embryonic cell is one cell that can differentiate into various types of cells.

The key word here is Embryonic. This tells us that we are talking about an embryo. Once a cell is part of an embryo, it is considered part of a living being. An embryo is simply an underdevelopped child not yet born. What many people don't realize is that even adult humans have stem cells. It is not necessary to kill a human embryo in order to harvest stem cells, in fact thousands of stem cells may be present in just an umbilical cord after the baby has been born. Stem cells save lives, and it is a common misconception that we must murder a fetus to get them, it simply isn't true.

Embryonic stem cells are not living people. The still growing children, from which they are extracted before the children are murdered, are living people.

As embryonic stem cells are available for many sources besides invitro fertilization, a ban should be kept on that process. It is wrong to kill people for "scientific research".

I do not believe stem cells are a living person. There is no embryo in that cell. So not, it is not murder.

No. The murder has already been committed by the the one who had or did the removal of the embroyo. I think it being used in someone else gives it another purpose for life.
